Leaving Cert Irish Now Comes With a Free Online Practice Hub
Leaving Cert Irish now comes with a free online practice hub for readers of the book. It is a set of short drills designed to build the accuracy that every part of the Irish exam rewards.
What Is in the Hub
There are four ten-question drills. The vocabulary drill covers common everyday words. The prepositional pronouns drill tests forms such as agam, liom and orm. The verb drill covers the past, future and conditional forms of fifteen common regular and irregular verbs. The Tá or Is drill helps with one of the most common slips in written Irish.
The hub also includes a summary of the exam format, a simple weekly study plan, and a progress page that tracks your score on each drill in your own browser.
Why Short Drills Help
Accuracy in verbs, pronouns and vocabulary supports the oral, the composition and the reading comprehension alike. Ten questions a day takes only a few minutes, which makes it easier to keep up than a long weekly session.
How to Get In
The hub is free for readers of the book. Use the access code or QR code printed in the new edition of Leaving Cert Irish. It is an independent study resource and is not affiliated with the State Examinations Commission. The practice material is original; it is not taken from past papers.
